Bison E Bike DIY Kit (est $450) – Designed as a low cost car replacement for travel to work, etc. Requires a 26” donor bike for parts and e-bike battery. Kit includes heavy duty Amish made welded frame, rear disc brake, folding pedals, kick stand, 1000 watt high torque e-wheel motor, controller, display, and thumb throttle. Speed limited to 18 mph. The e-wheel kit helps to haul heavier loads uphill and at a higher constant speed while saving on food energy cost. Ideal for pulling the Bison Cargo Trailer. Comes apart for shipping as checked baggage. (Less than 50 lbs. and 62 inches)
Electric power helps save up to $2.00 in food energy cost for every 10 miles traveled.
