1.1.1 Bicycle camper for the Homeless
Temporary shelter to help the housing challenged camp better. Provides more security than a tent. Includes a locking door. Tents wear out in 6 months to a year with heavy use. This camping shell is designed to last 15 years or more. Can be passed along for others to use when a person moves into affordable housing. Can sleep 2 individuals off the ground. Twin bed size - 38’ x 78”. Weighs only 150 lbs. Designed for 70 mph wind loading using anchor pegs. When insulated to R7 with radiant barrier your body heat alone can raise the temperature up to 30 degrees above the outside temperature. Includes surface for mounting a solar panel inside the shell. Comes as a flat pack kit to lower shipping cost. Some assembly required. (36 screws) Easy to move by hand. Designed to use standard 20” bicycle wheels. (However any size bicycle wheel can be used. Wheels are user supplied or can also be purchased –please call for availability)

We will work to connect you with an investor/donor to cover one half of the cost. We offer a 5 year buy back option. Donations appreciated. 100% will be spent on the homeless.
