1. Sustaining Technologies
This section is designed as a resource for missionaries, farmers, volunteers, and anyone interested in living more sustainably. We plan to cover many topics here; on farm processing, water pumping, composting, water filtration, low cost structures, alternate fuels, micro-enterprises, etc. Our main focus is the development of small farm equipment that helps farmers be 10-20 times more productive than current small farm practices. With the goal of helping people help themselves out of poverty, and stay out of poverty. Equipment we have helped develop so far includes a hand/hydraulic operated flour mill and corn sheller. A belt driven hammer-mill and grain thresher. A multi-use power cart that can be used to operate many pieces of equipment: irrigation pump, generator, hammer-mill, thresher, hydraulic pump, and also charge batteries while performing these tasks. We are currently developing a low speed transport vehicle to haul water and produce. Most of our equipment is designed to be transported as checked baggage or by container for easy assembly in country. Please check back often for new developments. We welcome others to send information they feel is important to share with our "World-Community".
